I’m a writer, too. I understand what it takes to put your heart on paper. I will approach editing with that in mind.

My specialty falls within fiction and nonfiction works, as well as content writing for the web.
I review your written work at a sentence-level for grammar and technical correctness. I will refer to major style guides, such as The Chicago Manual of Style. Speciality in nonfiction and fictional works, as well as content for the web.
Think of this one as the “fine-tooth comb”.
I will assist in identifying author voice and ensuring consistency throughout your written work. The goal with Line Editing is to iron out the overall flow of your written work. Here we ask questions about what tone and “feel” you want to convey.
I will review your written work for plot holes, assist in strengthening character arcs, and offer feedback on overall story structure.
This is a “big picture” look at your written work.
The final “check” of the editing process! Here I will do a final read-through to catch any “typos” or errors prior to publication. Don’t expect any major overhauls with Proofreading. it’s to tie the proverbial bowtie on the written work.
Due to the variations in work length, composition, and genre, pricing will, well, vary! I am more than happy to provide quotes. When submitting a Contact Form, ensure to provide details including: Word Count and Genre.
